Thursday, May 25, 2017 -- Students at Veterans Memorial STEM Academy will honor and remember American military veterans on May 26 when they dedicate a stone memorial near their school’s flagpole.
Wednesday, May 24, 2017 -- RISE Academy for Adult Achievement, where an average of 2,100 students attend classes each year to earn their high school diploma, high school equivalency certificate, and/or take English language classes, has been formally accredited by AdvancED, a non-profit, non-partisan organization that conducts rigorous on-site reviews of school systems to measure institutional success.
Friday, May 19, 2017 -- This is a celebration of the achievements of students from three WCSD high schools who are learning the Paiute language. These students are gathering to compete in the Paiute Language Bowl.
